Published non-fiction author and entrepreneur is in need of a Writer's Assistant to help with research, interview scheduling, proofreading, follow-ups, transcribing, etc.
Looking for someone with experience working as a Writer's Assistant or as a research or editorial assistant for magazines or university faculty or thesis projects.
Writing skills and knowledge of the publishing industry would also be very helpful.
The position is part-time (about 8-12 hours per week to start - with the potential to increase). You must be extremely computer savvy and able to work from home on a computer with a reliable internet connection. You must also be available for weekly meetings in Manhattan.
