Regional Representative
AYUSA (Academic Year in the U.S.A.) is a non-profit high school student exchange organization with Headquarters in San Francisco, CA . Each year, AYUSA places about 2000 foreign exchange students with volunteer American host families for the academic school year or a semester.
As an AYUSA Regional Representative, you will act as the primary link between our exchange students, host families and local high schools. You will play an active role in promoting cross-cultural education by building relationships in your community, spreading the word about exchange, and acting as a guide to potential host families.
The responsibilities of the AYUSA Regional Representative include recruiting host families, conducting in-home interviews, obtaining school permission and supporting students, families and schools during the program.
As a Regional Representative, you will make friends from all over the world and have the opportunity to share your town with International students A successful Regional Representative has significant experience parenting, teaching or supervising teenagers. You should be very familiar your local schools and community.
Above all, you should have a genuine interest in the successful experiences of our students and host families. AYUSA provides excellent training to all its Representatives. You will be working with a team of AYUSA field staff dedicated to offering life-changing experiences to young people and promoting cross-cultural communication and understanding.
Regional Representatives work from home and make their own hours. Compensation is per student placed and supervised for academic year and semester programs. We also offer financial and travel incentives. This position is ideal for people who want a little supplemental income and a very rewarding experience. Website Development
Position Summary: Website development including design and IT set up for new website/company as well as all aspects of SEO and internet marketing. This is a short term contracted project that could become a longer term position or contract. Individuals or firms welcome to apply. Experience Required: * Website design; * Website development; * IT related to all aspects of content management and other website related needs; * Strong SEO skills related to content, linking and marketing; * Work with Google Analytics; * Work with Google Adsense; * Knowledge of and experience with Wiki software and websites.
